A monster grunt i recorded for a horror game i'm making. Uses my voice, audacity, noise removal, and pitch changes. Could be used as an enemy sound in any type of game with creatures. You don't have to credit me, but if you're feeling generous, feel free to drop my name in your credits: jake giambalvo. Write a comment about what you're using my sound(s) for, i'd love to hear about it.

I was just trying to recreate some monster sounds & came up with this. I overlayed a few sounds on top of each other, some of the sounds are mainly me sneezing but stretched. Other than monsters, it sounds something from underwater too. Regardless, other people may interpreted it as other types of soundings too!. If u like the sound, please give it like & feel free to use it!. And if you love the sound, donation to me is much appreciated!. Paypal. Me/f1l1h.

Do not use without asking me first. If i say know do not use it regardless unless you're changing how it sounds by a lot, but if the base sound is still recognisable then do not use.

This is a stereo recording of an exterior glass and metal door on a university campus in new jersey, usa. There are several articulations of the door here that lend themselves to creature and robot noises. There is a whimper and a sigh and a screech as well as some ticking and clicking. This reminded me very much of baby godzilla type noises. I've put these into iris 2 and had a good time making synth patches with them. Stereo recording at 48khz 24bit on a tascam d-40x using the internal microphones.

I was messing around with some voice effects and somehow ended up with this growl. It sounds like a noise a dinosaur or dragon would make. Or like a clicker from "the last of us. "also, if you slow it down, it sounds like wood creaking. Let me know if it's useful for you, hope it makes for some good sound design with whatever you're doing. I'm excited to hear what you do with this sound if you do use it.

A big-cat-sounding growl; on the exhale and inhale. This sound was created using my voice, a pc mic, and a pitch-shifter. Not sure what it's suitable for, but friends keep asking me for it (i use it as my empty-the-recycle-bin noise).

5 individual sounds created for a cyclops monster in a project that was cancelled before any real sound design could begin. This sound was created by recording various vocal noises and importing them into pro tools. Each vocal take was then pitch shifted down by -24 semitones and duplicated into 4-5 layers. These layers were processed individually using techniques such as reverse reverb, distortion and eq to emphasise different aspects of the creature's roar. The final sound is a result of all these layers playing simultaneously.

Lyrebird is a ground dwelling bird that lives in the australian bush and is very clever at mimicking sounds. This particular bird happens to sound like a science fiction movie! i removed much of the background noise, and lightly processed it with a phase effect. At the end i pitched certain sounds down for a more alien, dinosaur sound. The original sound was recorded on a smart phone.
